of South Hagefen.
The two words are stacked and the drawing is a contrasted serif with attached flourishes: the first letter opens with a curling entry stroke, the last closes with a long tail that sweeps under the line, and the joins between adjacent letters are drawn rather than spaced. That makes the face a display cut for large sizes, and the specimen sets it big enough that each swash is legible as a shape. The plate also shows the limits: on a pale fabric ground the hairlines hold, but the composition keeps plenty of empty space, which is what the face needs. The gold seal and the small tracked label are period furniture, and the palette is one ink plus the seal.
