Tall contrast sans with curved leg
Ruana is a tall high-contrast mixed case in orange on white: a long curved R leg that sweeps under the following letters, reversed-looking a bowls, fine joins and a tall ascender, set as one large word with a small credits line at each top corner and a drawn diamond ornament centred above.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The word is set as wide as the sheet and the drawing is a high-contrast sans with one great gesture: the R leg sweeps under the u and the a, which turns the first letter into a cradle for the rest. That construction sets a size floor, because the joins thin first, and it means the face should be set with its alternates intact rather than approximated. The reversed a bowls give the lowercase a distinctive rhythm and stop the word reading as a neutral grotesque. The credits lines at the corners are genuine product copy that name the studio, the style and the alternates, and the diamond ornament is supplied. Because the letters are tall and contrasting, the face suits a wordmark, a label and a cover.

A tall contrast mark gives a fashion label presence, and the curved R leg turns a short name into a single drawn form. The leg carries the name.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the mark at 18 pt on a label, 95 mm on a window and 13 pt on a card, keeping the R leg and the a bowls intact. Keep one colour and clear space equal to the cap height.
Pre-production check
Check the 13 pt card mark, where a join can vanish; keep the size above 15 pt. Confirm the window mark reads at eight metres and that the R leg clears the next letter.
A tall contrast title gives a design cover elegance, and the fine joins hold on a coated stock at display size. The joins hold on coated stock.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the title at 100 mm cap height across 200 mm, the subtitle in an 8.5 pt sans, and the issue at 7 pt. Print one ink on a coated stock and keep 24 mm margins at the head.
Pre-production check
Check the title at 100 mm, where a join can break on coated stock; keep it above 0.25 mm. Confirm the 7 pt issue survives lamination and that the title clears the trim.
A contrast sans reads as quiet luxury, and the curved leg gives the names a drawn finish without a script. It reads as quiet luxury.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A5 invitation: the names at 26 pt, the request in a 9.5 pt serif, and the date at 8.5 pt caps. Keep 26 mm margins and letterpress one ink on a heavy, cotton card.
Pre-production check
Check the 26 pt names in letterpress, where a join can sink into the cotton; proof the plate first. Confirm the request reads at arm's length and that the leg clears the trim.
