Retro Mama is a groovy connected marshmallow script: fat rounded letters that join in one thick ribbon, a lazy baseline that rises and dips, and swash loops that rise off the caps into a wide arc. The weight is the character, so it closes the counters early, and the swash loops grow the word vertically. It needs roughly 28 mm for the swash arc and the marshmallow join to read, and it is best in two warm inks on cream, or one saturated colour on white where the thick stroke stays solid.
