Single-line hairline script with wide elegant loops
Quietly Rose is a single-line script in which the stroke never changes width, the loops open wide and the letters lean gently, so a phrase reads as a pencil line drawn quickly over a photograph.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The Q drops a wide curled tail, the u holds two even shoulders, the i carries a small dot, the e turns a light eye and the y finishes a long open loop, all at one hairline weight with a modest slant and generous spacing. The single line is the character: there is no thick and thin at all, so the face depends entirely on proportion and rhythm, which is why the sample sets it over a soft image rather than on a plain ground. Because the stroke is a hairline, it needs 30 pt on screen and a smooth stock in print; on a textured paper it breaks at 12 pt. The washed palm shadow, the line drawing of the rose, the letter-spaced caption and the small credit are presentation; the hairline script is the face.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Quietly Rose’s stroke geometry.
The single hairline keeps a long promise line airy across the card, and the open loops give a small ceremony card its elegance at 26 pt.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an A6 card: set two short lines at 26 pt with 1.6 line spacing, keep a 12 mm margin on every side, and set the date in a 7 pt caps sans at the foot.
Pre-production check
A hairline script at 26 pt on a textured card breaks at every join; check the printed card and specify smooth cotton rather than a laid stock.
The hairline sits over an image without covering a face, and the wide loops give a portrait series one consistent signature at 40 pt.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 200 by 250 mm plate: set the name at 40 pt in the lower corner, keep the stroke white over a mid tone, and leave 15 mm of clear image around it so the loops are not lost in detail.
Pre-production check
A white hairline over a pale photograph vanishes; check the plate at print brightness and move the name onto the darker part of the frame.
The single line prints clearly on a narrow band, and the wide loops give a small florist a mark with no weight to break at 16 pt.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 40 mm band: set the shop name at 16 pt in one line, keep 5 mm of clear band above and below, and check that the descender of the y falls inside the band rather than off its edge.
Pre-production check
A long loop on a narrow band gets cut by the wrap; check the wrapped sleeve and shorten the descender rather than the name.
