Minimalist display serif with italic
Nectavia is a refined minimalist serif in white over a dark green portrait: moderate contrast, smooth curves, a clean stem and sharp serifs, set in title case on one line with a small italic line beneath and three tracked notes across the top.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The word is set once in title case and the drawing is a minimalist serif: the contrast is moderate, the curves are smooth, and the serifs are sharp without being hairline, which keeps the face usable for a brand as well as for a cover. The plate adds a second line in the italic at a fraction of the size, which shows that the family has a working italic with extra contrast, and three tracked notes across the top name the features a buyer checks. Because the type sits over a dark photograph, the plate is also a contrast test, and the white holds because it is placed over the darkest area of the wall. The palette is one ink plus the photograph.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Nectavia’s stroke geometry.
A minimalist serif reads as restraint, and the moderate contrast keeps the mark legible at the small sizes a box, a card and a footer demand.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the mark at 18 pt on a carton, 80 mm on a panel and 11 pt in a footer, using the italic only above 20 pt. Keep one colour and clear space equal to the cap height.
Pre-production check
Check the 11 pt footer on uncoated stock, where the serifs can fill; keep the size at or above 10 pt. Confirm the panel reads at six metres and that the mark holds reversed out of a photograph.
A minimalist serif gives a cover restraint, and the italic supplies a second voice for a subtitle without a second family.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the title at 100 mm cap height across 220 mm, the subtitle in the italic at 20 pt, and the publisher at 8 pt. Print white over a dark photograph and keep the title in the upper half.
Pre-production check
Check the title at 100 mm, where smooth curves can look soft on press; keep the serifs sharp. Confirm the 20 pt italic reads at three metres and that the 8 pt publisher survives lamination.
A minimalist serif suits a pared-back invitation, and the moderate contrast survives a home print run where a didone would break up.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A5 invitation: the names at 24 pt, the request in a 10 pt serif at 14 pt leading, and the date at 9 pt caps. Keep 24 mm margins and print one ink on a heavy cream card.
Pre-production check
Check the 24 pt names at home-print resolution, where a sharp serif can fill; keep the counters above 0.5 mm. Confirm the 10 pt request reads at arm's length and that the names stay centred.
