Sloping script with an oversized return swash and high contrast
Javaline is a sloping script whose two words are joined by wide open flourishes, with an oversized return swash that sweeps under the whole line and closes it on the right.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The capital J opens with a narrow loop that rises above the cap line, then descends in a shaded stem before the word continues at a lighter weight. The lowercase letters keep a consistent forward slope: the a and the v close small bowls, the l rises into a tall loop, the i and the n stay narrow, and the final e exits into a broad flourish that runs up and over before dropping into the return swash beneath the word. That return is the widest element in the composition and it balances the capital's opening loop. Contrast is moderate: stems are noticeably heavier than joins, and the terminals taper. The white ground with gold confetti and leaves, plus the two tracked captions, are presentation; the script is the word and its swashes.

The return swash acts as a built-in baseline ornament, so a single line of type fills an invitation without extra rules or borders, and the sloping stems keep the card formal.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the names at 26 pt on a 120 by 180 mm card, set the details in a small caps serif at 8 pt above the swash, and keep the return swash 12 mm clear of the date block.
Pre-production check
A wide swash under the text can collide with small caps details; check the proof at final size and move the details above the name line.
The swash gives a small label a finished base, and the moderate contrast keeps the name legible when the label is printed at 12 pt on a box.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the brand at 13 pt on a 55 by 55 mm box label, keep the cocoa percentage in a tracked caps serif at 6 pt, and leave 6 mm below the swash for the ingredient line.
Pre-production check
Foil stamping a swash and a small caps line together needs one plate; check the die and confirm the swash does not touch the ingredient line.
The flourish carries the genre without illustration, and the sloping stems give the title movement on a cover where a static serif would look plain.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the title at 66 pt on the upper half of the cover, set the author in a small caps serif at 12 pt, and leave the lower third plain so the swash reads as the only ornament.
Pre-production check
A wide swash printed on a matt cover can look like a stray rule; check the proof at final size and confirm it reads as part of the lettering.
