Visual anatomy & craft review
The capital H begins with a small loop above the cap line and then two heavy verticals with a hairline crossbar, which establishes the rhythm of the whole phrase. Every letter after it alternates the same way: the o and the p are built from heavy stems and thin joins, the double l rises into two tall narrow loops, the V opens with a sweeping hairline entry that lifts past the cap line, and the final e exits in a light rise. Contrast is high but the joins stay visible at small sizes, and the stems are tall enough that the phrase reads as a vertical block rather than a band. Ends taper to points. The pale pink ground and the two tracked captions are presentation; the calligraphy is the two words.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Hopefull Valentine’s stroke geometry.
The tall contrasted stems give a formal invitation presence on a small card, and the hairline joins keep the lettering light enough to sit above a block of details.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set both names at 24 pt on a 105 by 180 mm card, set the details in a small caps serif at 8 pt, and hold 12 mm between the second name and the details so the tall ascenders have air.
Pre-production check
High-contrast hairlines on uncoated card can break; print a proof on the actual stock and thicken the joins a fraction if they start to disappear.
A tall contrasted script carries a short romantic line with formality, and the hairline entries let the phrase stretch across a wide card without extra ornament.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the message at 26 pt on a 148 by 105 mm card, set the sender in the same face at 12 pt, and leave 18 mm at each end so the entry and exit strokes stay inside the trim.
Pre-production check
A hairline entry is the first thing to drop out in offset; ask for the printer's minimum line weight and thicken the entry rather than shortening the line.
The calligraphic contrast gives a printed thanks a formal tone, and the tall stems keep the message compact on a small card attached to a bouquet.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the greeting at 18 pt on a 90 by 55 mm card, keep the shop name in a 6 pt serif, and hold 6 mm at the base so the descenders stay clear of the card edge.
Pre-production check
Cards attached to a bouquet are handled with wet hands; print on a stock that resists marking and check the fine joins after handling.
