Bold extended-terminal calligraphy
Valentine Signature is a bold calligraphy in black inside an ornate frame: heavy stems, extended entry and exit strokes, and a rounded lower case with ball terminals on several letters.

Visual anatomy & craft review
Valentine sits above Signature, and the lettering is a confident calligraphy: the V opens with a broad entry stroke that runs in from the left, the a and the l are heavy, the n and the t are rounded, and several letters finish with a ball terminal rather than a taper. The stroke contrast is moderate rather than extreme, which is what lets the face hold at a card size, and the whole phrase fills the width of the frame. Around it a drawn botanical border of scrolls, leaves and small berries runs along all four edges in the same ink, with a small ribbon at the top and a caption strip at the foot. The face is a formal script for invitations and certificates: the extended terminals need a wide measure, and the border is drawn artwork rather than something the font supplies.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Valentine Signature’s stroke geometry.
Extended entry and exit strokes let a couple's names fill a wide card without an ornament, and the ball terminals give the line a formal finish.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 130 by 180 mm invitation: set the names at 30 pt on one row, keep 20 mm of clear ground beneath before the venue at 9 pt, and hold 17 mm of margin so the terminals are not trimmed.
Pre-production check
Heavy stems hold well, but the extended terminals can clip a border; print one invitation at the finished size and check both ends before the suite.
A bold calligraphy gives a one-word card weight, and the ball terminals carry the decoration without a second motif or a border.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 120 by 120 mm square card: set the word at 38 pt on one row, keep 17 mm of clear ground beneath before the message, and hold 14 mm of margin on all sides.
Pre-production check
A wide script on a square card leaves little breathing room; print one at the finished size and check the margins before the batch.
A formal calligraphy is what a certificate expects for its heading, and the extended terminals make a plain sheet look awarded rather than printed.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an A4 certificate: set the heading at 40 pt on one row, keep 24 mm of clear ground beneath before the name at 18 pt, and hold 20 mm of margin on all four sides.
Pre-production check
A heavy script at 40 pt can look cramped on an A4 sheet; print one certificate at the finished size and check the width before the run.
