Visual anatomy & craft review
Happy Graduation is a plump rounded marker print sans in mixed case, drawn neat and even with open counters and a sticker-ready outline supplied conceptually by the layout rather than the font. The strokes are uniform, so the face holds at 10 mm on a card and 100 mm on a banner, and the rounded terminals keep it friendly rather than institutional. It reads as a student's careful lettering, which is why it suits graduation signage, cards and merch, and it wants a bright ground or a clean white sticker offset behind the word.

Neat rounded print reads as a class-made sign rather than official branding, which suits a party rather than a ceremony. The face holds a long surname at 40 mm on a backdrop.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Banner 1200 x 400 mm, word 200 mm, 80 mm margins with eyelets every 500 mm. Backdrop 2000 x 2400 mm, word 400 mm, 150 mm margins. Programme A5, title 26 pt, order 8.5/12 pt, 12 mm margins.
Pre-production check
Backdrop panels are printed in strips and a word crossing a seam splits. Plan the seam through the gaps between letters, and check the assembled backdrop from three metres.
Rounded print reads as student-made merch, which is what an alumni shop sells. Uniform strokes hold on a small die and a screen print.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Sticker 60 mm round, word 9 mm, 2 mm die margin. Shirt print 260 x 140 mm, word 45 mm, 40 mm from the collar. Card 85 x 55 mm, name 9 mm, 6 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 60 mm sticker with a 9 mm word leaves little room for the rounded terminals, and the fill runs to the die. Keep 3 mm clear inside the cut, and pull one sticker before the sheet.
The face reads from the street at a yard-sign size, and the rounded forms survive corrugated plastic. Uniform weight prints evenly on a cheap banner.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Yard sign 600 x 450 mm, word 120 mm, 40 mm margins, 5 mm H-stake slots. Sign 900 x 600 mm, name 90 mm, year 40 mm. Tag 50 x 90 mm, name 9 mm, hole 5 mm clear.
Pre-production check
Corrugated plastic shows flutes as light bands through a solid fill. Ask for a white liner or a double pass, and check one sign in daylight before the run.
