Rounded low-loop handwritten script with a soft sticker outline
Halloween is a rounded handwritten script in which the letters loop low along the baseline, the stroke stays thick and an uneven white outline lifts the word off the ground, so a phrase reads as a cut sticker rather than as calligraphy.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The h opens with a tall loop that folds back into the body, the a closes a round bowl, the double o and the w keep low round turns and the n finishes with a curved tail, all at a heavy even weight with fully rounded ends. The low loops are the character: the word sits close to the baseline with the loops almost touching it, which is what gives the face its friendly rather than formal register. The outline is a treatment in the sample and it is uneven by design, so a designer can keep the wobble or drop it on a plain ground. The face holds at 24 pt on a card. The cream ground, the red ink, the drawn spider and stars are presentation; the script is the two lines.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Halloween’s stroke geometry.
The low rounded loops keep a seasonal greeting friendly rather than frightening, and the heavy stroke reads at 30 pt on a cream card.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 148 by 105 mm card: set the greeting at 30 pt in two lines with 12 mm leading, set the time in an 8 pt caps sans beneath, and keep 15 mm of margin so the tails stay inside the trim.
Pre-production check
An uneven outline printed on a plain card looks like a smudge; check the proof and use the flat cut where the ground is quiet.
The sticker treatment is built into the sample, and the heavy loops read at 14 pt on a small die against a coloured box.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 55 mm round sticker: set the greeting at 14 pt, keep 5 mm inside the die so the outline has a clean margin, and check that the low loops still separate at that size.
Pre-production check
Low loops can merge into a band under 14 pt; check the printed sticker and raise the size rather than separating the loops by hand.
The thick loops read across a room at 70 mm, and the sticker outline keeps the word visible over a patterned table cover behind the banner.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 1.2 m paper banner: set the greeting at 70 mm, keep 8 mm between letters so the loops stay distinct, and leave 20 cm at each end clear so the fixings fall on plain paper.
Pre-production check
A heavy looped script over a pattern turns into a mass; check the hung banner and keep the outline only where the ground is busy.
