Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
Dirty Lizard Graffiti is a chisel-marker street tag with sharp angular kicks, a raw handstyle rhythm and a crown-and-underline motif, so a word reads as a piece painted in a tunnel rather than a designed logo. The kicks extend past the letter bodies and the strokes overlap, which gives the tag its speed, and the heavy chisel ends survive a vinyl cut. It needs roughly 30 mm for the kicks to read, and it is best in white on a dark ground or in one bright ink on a pale wall.

A chisel tag reads as a shop that came out of the scene, which is what a skate store paints on its shutter. The heavy strokes cut cleanly at 60 mm, and the crown motif gives the mark a signature without a separate logo.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Sticker 90 x 60 mm, word 18 mm, 3 mm die margin. Window vinyl 900 x 300 mm, word 150 mm, 60 mm margins. Tee print 280 x 160 mm, word 60 mm, 40 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A vinyl cut at 150 mm loses the angular kick under 0.5 mm and the tag arrives with blunt ends. Keep kicks at 1.5 mm on cut artwork, and weed one window word before the run.
A raw tag reads as a photographed piece turned into a cover, which is what a scene zine does. The overlapping strokes fill a panel in one ink, and the underline gives the headline a base without a rule.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Cover 148 x 210 mm, title 60 mm, cover lines 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins. Opener 420 x 297 mm, headline 110 mm, body 9/13 pt. Flyer A5, title 60 mm, lineup 8/11 pt.
Pre-production check
A photocopied zine at 80 percent reduction erodes the chisel edge into dots and the tag looks faded. Print at 100 percent, and check one reduced spread before the run.
Marker tags read as a neighbourhood street festival, which is what a summer block party prints. The heavy strokes hold at 260 mm in one ink, and the underline anchors the bill on a fence.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Poster A2, word 260 mm, times 22/28 pt, 30 mm margins and 20 mm trim. Stage sign 1200 x 500 mm, word 200 mm, 80 mm margins. Wristband 250 x 25 mm, word 8 mm, 4 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A wristband at 8 mm merges the overlapping strokes into a solid bar and the event name smears. Use the plain caps on small formats, and check one printed band before the gate.
