Curly handwritten script with spiral terminals and a light irregular stroke
Crafted Storybook is a curly handwritten script whose letters carry small spirals at the ends, whose weight is light and slightly irregular, and whose baseline drifts, so a phrase reads as an illustrated hand rather than a font.

Fine grain and micro-texture excel in 300 DPI print, sublimation, and screen print rather than small vinyl weeding.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The capital C opens with a curl that spirals inward before the stem descends, and every following letter repeats that habit somewhere: the a ends its exit in a small hook, the t finishes with a loop, the f and the S both carry spirals, and the final b closes into a curl rather than a straight stem. Weight varies slightly from stroke to stroke, as a real hand would leave it, and the baseline lifts and settles across the phrase, which is what gives the word its storybook quality. Counters are small and round, the ascenders are tall and narrow, and the descenders curl back toward the word rather than dropping straight. The painting behind, the small stars and the two handwritten notes are presentation; the script is the two words.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Crafted Storybook’s stroke geometry.
The spirals and the drifting baseline read as an illustrated title, and the light irregular stroke keeps the cover from looking like a modern template.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the title at 48 pt on the upper third of an A4 cover, set the author in a 10 pt serif, and leave 25 mm above the title so the tallest spiral has air against the trim.
Pre-production check
Spiral terminals under 0.2 mm drop out on cheap cover stock; check the printed proof and simplify the tightest curl if it disappears.
A curly hand signals the genre without illustration, and the light weight lets the title sit above a dense column of text without dominating the page.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the title at 40 pt on the opening spread, keep the standfirst in a 10 pt serif, and hold 16 mm between the title's descenders and the first line of text.
Pre-production check
A drifting baseline can look like a misprint in an editorial context; check the printed spread and keep the drift to the ends of the phrase rather than the middle.
The hand suits a shop that sells stories, and the spirals give a small card a decorative detail that a plain script would lack.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the greeting at 15 pt on a 90 by 55 mm card, keep the shop name in a 6 pt serif, and leave 6 mm at the base so the curled descenders stay inside the card.
Pre-production check
Small cards fold and crease; check the artwork against the fold and keep the curled exits above the crease line.
