Narrow upright sans letters with softened rectangular bowls
Bronze Sign is a condensed sans display face: tall narrow caps and lowercase with a closed aperture, tight spacing and a flat, even stroke that reads like a sign painter's block letter.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
Bronze Sign sits across the middle of the card in a pale cream on a dark navy ground with a faint faceted texture, and the letters are narrow with a uniform stroke, square terminals and a small, closed bowl on the g. The spacing is tight, so the pair of words reads as a single sign, and the face carries no ornament at all — the whole character comes from the proportion. Two captions frame the word, one above in spaced small caps and one below, in a lighter weight of the same family. This is a workmanlike display sans: it is the sort of face a sign painter would use for a shop board, a poster or a label where a short line has to fill a wide space without decoration, and it holds up in one colour at a distance.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Bronze Sign’s stroke geometry.
The condensed caps fill a wide board with a short name, and the flat stroke reads across a yard where a lighter face would disappear into the background of a working building.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 900 by 250 mm board: set the workshop name at 120 pt on one row, keep 24 mm of clear ground beneath before the phone number at 20 pt, and hold 30 mm of margin at each end of the board.
Pre-production check
Narrow letters space unevenly when hand-set on vinyl; print one board at the final size and check the gap after the double s before the set.
The face is a period reference rather than a fashion gesture, which suits a subject about painted boards, and a long title fits in one column at jacket size.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 170 by 240 mm cover: set the title at 62 pt across three rows, keep 24 mm of clear ground beneath before the author at 11 pt, and hold 16 mm from the widest letter to the spine edge.
Pre-production check
Three tight rows can merge into a block; print one cover and read it at thumbnail size before the print run.
The condensed sans looks like a stamped product label, and a short brand name at a small size stays legible because the counters are open and the stroke is even.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 55 by 40 mm label: set the brand name at 15 pt on one row, keep 5 mm of clear ground beneath before the size at 4.5 pt, and hold 4 mm from the last letter to the die line.
Pre-production check
Small condensed lettering fills in on uncoated stock; print one label on the real paper and check the e and the a before the order.
