Pastel cube-like blocks with inset capitals and shaded side faces
Baby Block is a colour font that draws every letter as a wooden toy block seen at an angle: a pastel cube with the character on the front face and two shaded sides turning away.

Visual anatomy & craft review
BABY over BLOCK fills the card on a pink candy-striped ground, and each letter is a cube drawn in a simple isometric projection with a pale top, a coloured face and a darker side. The characters on the faces are rounded caps with a white outline, and the whole row tilts slightly so the blocks read as objects standing on a surface. A ribbon at the top names the set in a small caps serif and a bar at the foot lists the formats. The fills are flat apart from one shade per side, so the blocks hold their shape at a distance, and the pastel palette keeps the set in a nursery rather than a primary colour range. As a display face it is a single idea used consistently, and it works best in short words: a long word turns into a row of cubes and loses the sense of a toy box being unpacked.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Baby Block’s stroke geometry.
The blocks say nursery before an adult reads the room name, and the object-like shading gives a wall sign depth without a printed illustration.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 400 by 300 mm sign: set the room name at 70 pt on one row, keep 20 mm of clear ground beneath before the age range at 12 pt, and hold 22 mm of border so the shaded sides stay whole.
Pre-production check
The pale top face disappears on light walls; print one sign and check the contrast in the room before mounting the set.
The blocks are the party theme on their own, and the pastel palette keeps a photograph behind the cake from looking busy.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 900 by 600 mm backdrop: set the name at 130 pt on one row, keep 36 mm of clear ground beneath before the age at 24 pt, and hold 40 mm of margin around the frame.
Pre-production check
Backdrop fabric softens the cube edges; print a short sample on the actual material and check the shading before the panel.
The blocks read as toys at label size, and the pastel range suits garment tags where a brighter palette would look out of place.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 40 by 55 mm label: set the range name at 15 pt on one row, keep 5 mm of clear ground beneath before the size at 4.5 pt, and hold 4 mm from the shaded side to the label edge.
Pre-production check
Fine shading lines vanish on woven tape; print one label on the real material and check the cube edges before the order.
