The pen line stays thin through the joins, so the face reads as written quickly rather than carefully drawn, and the loops leave the word tall but not heavy. It needs roughly 22 mm for the open loop and the join to read, and it is best in one warm black ink on ivory, or a fine foil impression above 30 pt where the thin stroke can still carry.
