Heavy ornamental signature script
Vintage Signature is a heavy ornamental script in black: high-contrast strokes, capitals that open into wide calligraphic ribbons, and a swash that underlines the second word from edge to edge.

Visual anatomy & craft review
Vintage sits above Signature in the same heavy script, and the two words are joined by flourishes rather than by space: the capital V rises and curls back over the first word, the S of Signature opens into a wide loop, and a single unbroken swash runs beneath the second line and lifts at the right end. The stroke is thick and controlled, with a marked contrast between the broad downstrokes and the fine connectors, and the letters lean slightly as a signature does. The ground is a pale photograph of water, a circular badge sits at the right and a serif caption at the foot names the style. The face is a luxury script for brand marks, packaging and certificates: it needs size to show the contrast, it should be set in a single dark colour on a light ground, and the underline swash must have room to run.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Vintage Signature’s stroke geometry.
A heavy signature reads as a founder's hand on a bottle, and the underline swash gives a label its finishing line without a rule.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 55 by 90 mm bottle label: set the brand name at 18 pt on one row, keep 6 mm of clear ground beneath before the volume at 4.5 pt, and hold 4 mm from the swash to the die line.
Pre-production check
The underline swash runs off a narrow label; print one at the real size and check both ends before the order.
The script gives a couple's names the weight of an engraved card, and the swash can be used to tie two lines together on a tall format.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 130 by 180 mm invitation: set the names at 30 pt on one row, keep 20 mm of clear ground beneath before the venue at 9 pt, and hold 15 mm of margin so the swash is not cut.
Pre-production check
High-contrast hairlines break on uncoated card; print one invitation on the intended stock and check a connector before the suite.
One heavy signature on a cover signals a supplement about craft or hospitality, and it reads from a newsstand where a light script would not.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 230 by 300 mm cover: set the cover word at 90 pt on one row, keep 28 mm of clear ground beneath before the cover lines at 12 pt, and hold 20 mm of margin on all sides.
Pre-production check
A dark heavy script on a busy photograph loses its edges; print one cover and check the word separates from the image before the run.
