Rounded handwritten capitals with tracked lower line
Stand by Me is a handwritten face in warm brown on pale mint: rounded capital letters with a nearly even stroke, a flat-topped A and an S with a square shoulder, shown as a two-line product label under a fine drawn shell.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The sample uses the face as a label rather than a headline: a product name in large capitals sits over a much smaller tracked line of capitals, and both are drawn in the same hand. The letterforms are rounded and upright, the stroke nearly even with slight thickening on the diagonals, the terminals cut straight rather than tapered, the A with a flat apex, the S with a squared shoulder, the R with a short leg, and the letters are spaced generously so the word reads at a distance. The second line is set in the same face at a small size with wide tracking, which shows that the hand holds up when it is reduced. Above the type sits a fine line drawing of a scallop shell, and in the corner a small round badge from the studio. The ground is a pale mint. Stand by Me is a handwritten face for labels, packaging, signage and craft projects, and it suits short capitals with plenty of space around them.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Stand by Me’s stroke geometry.
A rounded hand makes a small batch look made by a person, and even capitals stay legible on a narrow label where a script would break down.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 55 by 75 mm label: set the product at 17 pt on one line, set the sub-line at 6 pt tracked wide with 8 mm of clear ground, and hold 5 mm of margin on all four sides.
Pre-production check
A tracked line at six points can spread unevenly by hand-set spacing; print one label and check the gaps between letters before the batch.
Even rounded capitals are easy to read from across a room, and a teacher can letter a set of shelf signs in one style without an illustrator.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an A5 card at 148 by 210 mm: set the sign at 40 pt on one line, keep 20 mm of clear ground beneath before the shelf number at 14 pt, and hold 18 mm of margin on all four sides.
Pre-production check
A hand-drawn face at forty points can look uneven next to printed classroom type; print one sign and check the line against the wall it sits on.
A rounded hand pulls a caption away from the body type without a second display face, and the even stroke keeps a long phrase readable at a small size.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 210 by 280 mm feature page: set the caption at 13 pt over two lines, keep 8 mm of clear ground above the body text, and hold 22 mm of margin on the outer three sides.
Pre-production check
A handwritten caption beside a serif body can read as a mistake; keep the caption clearly separated by space and check the page in proof.
