Bone and skull display
Spooky Bones is a Halloween display in black on a torn paper sheet: heavy caps whose ends are drawn as bone knuckles, with skulls set into the O and the counters, small pale cracks through the fills, and a plain sans line beneath naming the category.

Fine grain and micro-texture excel in 300 DPI print, sublimation, and screen print rather than small vinyl weeding.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The two words are stacked and the face is a picture alphabet: the letter ends are knuckles, the O is a skull, and every fill carries fine cracks, so the word reads as a season at first glance and as letterforms at second. The skulls are the reason the face is a display cut for one subject rather than a general text family, and the plate sets it large enough that each skull is recognisable. The torn paper sheet, the pumpkin and the lantern are staging, which is how this kind of product is presented, and the plain sans line beneath keeps the description separate from the display. Because the counters are partly filled by skulls, the face needs a large size and short words, and the specimen keeps to two. The palette is one ink on paper, which is a fair test of a novelty face.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Spooky Bones’s stroke geometry.
A bone-ended display sets the season in the letterforms, and the one-colour construction keeps a home print affordable while the skulls carry the theme.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A3 poster: the title at 80 mm cap height, the details in a 14 mm sans, and the address at 9 mm. Keep 25 mm margins, print one colour on a kraft sheet, and keep the skull counters above 8 mm.
Pre-production check
Check the poster at four metres, where the pale cracks can disappear; keep them above 0.5 mm. Confirm the 9 mm address reads at arm's length and that the title fits the sheet.
A novelty face prints in one screen, and the heavy fills keep the skulls readable on fabric where a fine illustration would break up.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 240 mm chest graphic: the greeting at 55 mm cap height, the date at 28 mm, and one ink on a mid-toned shirt. Keep the smallest cut-out at 4 mm and place the graphic 80 mm below the collar.
Pre-production check
Check the screen at actual mesh, where a 4 mm skull detail can fill; simplify the counters. Wash-test one shirt and confirm the skulls stay open after five cycles.
A themed sticker marks a seasonal window, and the heavy shapes stay readable at 50 mm where a detailed illustration would clot.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Die-cut 55 mm stickers: the word at 34 mm cap height, a 2 mm contour, and one ink on white vinyl. Keep 2.5 mm clear to the die and keep the skull counters above 3 mm.
Pre-production check
Check the die cut at 55 mm, where a bone end can snap; widen the contour. Confirm the stickers peel cleanly and that the ink holds on a curved window.
