Halloween silhouette dingbats
Spooky Halloween is a dingbat set on a white ground: solid black silhouettes with small white cut-outs, arranged in rows around a dark central panel that names the set — a tombstone, a cross, a hat, a wolf, a bat, a cat, a potion, a crow, a web, a cauldron, a skull, a boot, a ghost, a moon, a candle, a rat and a frog.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The plate is a character map in its most useful form: solid silhouettes at a consistent weight, arranged so a buyer can scan the range, with a central panel that names the set and the format. Because the shapes are solid and the cut-outs are small, the set reads at small sizes better than a line-art dingbat would, which is what makes it practical for tags, stickers and scattered decoration. The cut-outs are the only thing that sets a size floor. The central panel is product copy. It suits a card, a party poster, a sticker sheet and a classroom sheet, and it composes well as a border of mixed silhouettes.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Spooky Halloween’s stroke geometry.
A silhouette set decorates a poster as a border, and the solid shapes read at distance where line art would turn to grey.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A2 poster: eight silhouettes between 30 and 60 mm along the sides, the event at 90 mm cap height, and the details at 20 mm. Keep 28 mm margins and keep the cut-outs above 2 mm.
Pre-production check
Check the A2 at five metres, where a cut-out vanishes; keep it above 2 mm. Confirm the 20 mm details read at two metres and that the silhouettes clear the type.
A silhouette sheet makes stickers, and the solid shapes hold on a small die where a fine drawing would fill in. It makes a sticker sheet.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an A5 sticker sheet: twelve silhouettes between 15 and 25 mm, one ink on a white vinyl, and a 3 mm gutter between the dies. Keep 5 mm to the sheet edge and the cut-outs above 0.6 mm.
Pre-production check
Check the die-cut at 15 mm, where a cut-out can tear; widen it to 0.8 mm. Confirm the shapes peel cleanly and that the gutter clears every edge.
A silhouette set turns a worksheet into a counting exercise, and the solid shapes survive a photocopy where fine art would not.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A4 worksheet: ten silhouettes between 14 and 22 mm, the instructions at 11 pt, and one ink on a white sheet. Keep 20 mm margins and leave 8 mm between the marks.
Pre-production check
Check the sheet at actual size, where a cut-out closes in a photocopy; keep it above 0.5 mm. Confirm the instructions read at arm's length and that the marks survive a scan.
Technical & licence verification
Confirm included OTF/TTF/WOFF formats, full glyph tables and licence coverage on the live store page before batch production.
