Ornate contrasted display serif
Sikor is an ornate contrasted serif in cream on a dark portrait: very fine hairlines, tall narrow stems, curled terminals and an ampersand-like alternate, set on one line with small tracked labels in the corners and a caption beneath in a light roman.

Crisp hairline serifs shine on stationery, foil stamping, and packaging; add slight offset for small decals.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The word is set once, wide, and the drawing is a display serif with theatrical proportions: the stems are tall and narrow, the hairlines are almost invisible at small sizes, and several letters carry curled terminals that extend past the serif. The alternate in the middle of the word replaces one letter with a drawn flourish, which is the kind of detail a display face is bought for, and the specimen shows it in place. Because the hairlines are fine, the face needs a large size and a dark ground, and the specimen uses a portrait photograph with the type over the shadowed side. The corner labels and the caption beneath are set in a light roman at a fraction of the size, which keeps the plate quiet.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Sikor’s stroke geometry.
An ornate contrasted serif reads as a fashion masthead, and the tall narrow letters let a short title hold a large area without a second graphic.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the title at 110 mm cap height across 210 mm, the cover lines in an 8 pt serif, and the issue at 7 pt. Print cream over a dark photograph and keep the title in the upper half.
Pre-production check
Check the title at 110 mm, where the hairlines can break on press; keep them above 0.3 mm. Confirm the cover lines read at newsstand distance and that the title holds at thumbnail size.
An ornate serif reads as luxury, and the curled terminals give a short name a signature that holds on a box, a bag and a card.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the mark at 18 mm on a box, 12 pt on a card and 70 mm on a bag, in one colour. Keep clear space equal to the cap height and avoid reversing it out of a busy photograph.
Pre-production check
Check the 12 pt card mark, where hairlines can fill; keep the size at or above 10 pt. Confirm the bag mark reads at three metres and that the mark holds in a single foil.
An ornate serif sets a formal evening tone, and the fine construction keeps the card elegant where a heavy display would look loud.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A5 invitation: the names at 24 pt, the request in a 10 pt roman at 14 pt leading, and the date at 8 pt caps. Keep 22 mm margins and foil one colour on a deep card.
Pre-production check
Check the 24 pt names in foil, where hairlines can break; specify a fine die. Confirm the 10 pt request reads at arm's length and that the names clear the trim by 10 mm.
