Soft orange capitals with curved pumpkin-like shading, stems, leaves and curling vines

Visual anatomy & craft review
pum over pkin fills the card, and each letter is built as a pumpkin seen from the side, with four or five pale ribs, a dark stem that curves to the right, a thin green vine curling away and a yellow flower with a dark centre attached to the vine. The letters are lower case in the first row and upper case in the second, so the set can be judged at two proportions, and the fill is a warm orange with a lighter highlight along one rib. Around the words pumpkins of two sizes, maple leaves and loose flowers sit on the pale ground. A caption at the top introduces the set and a line under the second row names it. It is a colour face that depends on the drawing rather than the skeleton, so it works in short words at a large size and gets crowded in long ones.

The letters are the produce, so a sign needs no photograph of a field, and the warm orange reads across a muddy car park in October.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 900 by 600 mm board: set the name at 120 pt across two rows, keep 32 mm of clear ground beneath before the opening hours at 16 pt, and hold 34 mm of border so no vine is cut.
Pre-production check
Vines and flowers are thin and disappear on outdoor board; print one board at the final size and check them first.
The face says what the party is before the details are read, and the orange palette keeps the card seasonal without going dark.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 105 by 148 mm invitation: set the greeting at 40 pt across two rows, keep 15 mm of clear ground beneath before the details at 8.5 pt, and hold 12 mm of margin so no stem is cropped.
Pre-production check
The fine ribs close up at small sizes; print one card at the finished size and check the shapes before the batch.
One word does the whole labelling job on a small tag, and the warm fill matches the colour of the preserve inside the glass jar.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 45 by 70 mm tag: set the word at 18 pt on one row, keep 6 mm of clear ground beneath before the year at 4.5 pt, and hold 5 mm from the flower to the punch hole.
Pre-production check
Small tags lose the vine curls; print one tag on the real stock and check the shoulder detail before the set.
