Modern stylish high-contrast serif
Paris Forbel is a modern high-contrast serif in black on off-white: wide capitals with long hairline serifs, an A whose crossbar extends past the stems, small four-point stars set between the letters, and one capital whose tail sweeps below the line.

Crisp hairline serifs shine on stationery, foil stamping, and packaging; add slight offset for small decals.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The two words are stacked and the drawing is a display serif with an editorial manner: the stems are heavy and vertical, the hairlines are so fine that the serifs read as lines rather than wedges, and the capitals are wide with generous spacing, so the pair fills the page without a photograph. The A is the signature letter, drawn with a crossbar that runs past both stems and a pointed apex, while the F and the R end in short spurs instead of serifs, and one letter drops an elegant curved tail below the baseline. Two small stars sit between letters as accents, which is the only ornament, and the side labels run vertically in tiny tracked capitals, along with a date. The ground is plain off-white paper, so the whole specimen is typographic.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Paris Forbel’s stroke geometry.
A wide contrasted serif gives a masthead the air of a printed quarterly, and the ornamented A provides a detail that reads at newsstand size.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the masthead at 100 pt across 200 mm on a 240 mm cover, the cover lines in a 9 pt serif, and the issue date at 8 pt caps. Keep the whole cover to two inks and place the star accents only in the masthead.
Pre-production check
Check the hairlines at 100 pt on the cover stock, where a serif under 0.2 pt breaks on uncoated paper; specify coated stock. Confirm the cover lines read at newsstand distance and that the vertical date label is not lost against the photograph.
A contrasted serif gives a practice a mark that looks published rather than corporate, and the wide capitals hold at the small sizes used on drawings and cards.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the name at 26 pt with 120 units of tracking, and build a 10 pt version for the card and 8 mm wide for a stamp. Keep the stars only above 18 pt, and always leave clear space equal to half the cap height.
Pre-production check
Check the 8 mm stamp, where the hairline serifs close into a solid block; switch to a heavier cut for the stamp. Confirm the 10 pt card version reads at arm's length and that the mark holds on a dark ground reversed.
A wide serif sets names with ceremony without a script, which suits a wedding that wants the typography to look printed rather than drawn.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A5 portrait: the names at 30 pt with 100 units of tracking, the details in a 9 pt serif, and a 0.5 pt rule between. Keep 25 mm margins so the wide capitals have air and print in one ink on a heavy cotton stock.
Pre-production check
Check the 30 pt names on the cotton stock, where the hairline serifs can break under a light impression; consider digital printing. Confirm the 9 pt details keep a 4.5:1 contrast and that the rule does not crowd the descender of the tailed capital.
