Elegant serif with a curled x and tail
Oxelar is an elegant serif typeface in cream over a dark photograph: high contrast, tall letters with fine flat serifs, a curled x and an l that finishes with a small tail, sold with a regular and an italic and shown with small corner labels.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The word runs on one line across the middle of the page, and the face is an elegant serif with a modern cut: the stems are heavy and the joins hairlines, the serifs are fine and flat, the x is drawn with a curved stroke that crosses at the centre and lifts, the l finishes with a small tail to the right, and the a carries a large round bowl. The letters are tall and spaced evenly, so the word reads as a calm band, and the contrast is strong enough that the hairlines almost disappear at small sizes, which is the trade-off on a face built for display. Small capital labels sit in the corners naming the styles, the languages and the year, and a caption beneath names the typeface and the foundry. The ground is a dark photograph of legs and a skirt against a light floor, which gives the cream type a strong edge. Oxelar is a serif for editorial titles, packaging and branding.
