Fat retro script with extrusion
Magical Vintage is a fat retro script in salmon and cream on a striped ground: heavy connected strokes, large loops, an inline highlight and a hard extrusion behind each letter, with two round badges at the corners, so the pair reads as a seventies poster title.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The two words are stacked and the drawing is a brush script at maximum weight: the strokes swell, the joins are thick and the terminals roll into curls, while an inline highlight and a solid extrusion add two layers of depth. The extrusion stays consistent, so the block reads as one object rather than a stack of effects, and the counters remain open enough that the word holds at a distance. The ground is a set of vertical stripes in muted tones, which gives the plate its period energy, and two round badges at the corners state the format in tracked caps. The palette stays to three inks, which is what a screen-printed poster of the period would have used.

A fat retro script reads as a period fair poster, and the flat inks keep a large run cheap while the extrusion supplies the depth.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A2 portrait: the fair name at 120 mm cap height, the dates in an 18 mm sans, and a 6 mm border. Keep 30 mm margins, print three flat colours, and align the stripes so they run behind the whole block.
Pre-production check
Check the poster at five metres, where the inline can merge with the fill; keep the inline above 2 mm. Confirm the 18 mm dates read at three metres and that the stripes do not cut through the badges.
A retro script gives a bottle shelf presence, and the extrusion builds depth on a flat label without a photographic effect.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 60 by 90 mm label: the flavour at 17 pt, the volume in a 7 pt sans, and a small badge. Keep 5 mm inside the die and print three flat colours on a coated stock so the curls stay crisp.
Pre-production check
Check the 17 pt flavour on a curved bottle, where the outer letters distort; reduce the tracking. Confirm the 7 pt volume reads in the chiller and that the extrusion does not fill the counters.
A fat script prints as one screen plus an underlay, and the retro reference is unmistakable at shirt size where a modern script would look generic.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 260 mm chest graphic: the phrase at 55 mm cap height, the date at 16 mm, and two inks. Keep the thinnest curl at 3 mm so the screen holds and place the graphic 80 mm below the collar.
Pre-production check
Check the screen at actual mesh, where a 3 mm curl fills on a dark shirt; add the underlay. Wash-test one shirt and confirm the date stays legible after five cycles.
