Fine heart-ended connected script
Maddison is a fine connected script in black on a pale grey wall with leaf shadows: small round bowls, a level baseline, and entry and exit strokes that curl into drawn hearts at both ends of the word.

Visual anatomy & craft review
maddison is set in lowercase across the middle of the card, and the lettering is a fine monoline script: the ascenders on the d and the l are modest loops, the bowls of the a and the o are small and round, and the connection between letters is a light thread rather than a heavy join. The two ends are the design idea: the entry stroke opens into an open heart outline at the left and the exit stroke closes into the same shape at the right, so the word sits inside a pair of drawn hearts. The ground is a pale wall with soft leaf shadows, and two letter-spaced captions above and below name the style. The face is a quiet script for cards, labels and small brands: it needs a generous size, the heart terminals must be kept clear of any trim, and it prints best in one dark ink on a light ground.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Maddison’s stroke geometry.
The heart terminals give a couple's names a finished flourish without a separate ornament, which keeps a simple invitation from looking bare.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 130 by 180 mm invitation: set the names at 28 pt on one row, keep 20 mm of clear ground beneath before the venue at 9 pt, and hold 16 mm from each heart to the card edge.
Pre-production check
The open heart is a thin line that can tear on textured card; print one invitation on the intended stock and check both ends before the suite.
The word arrives inside two drawn hearts, so the card needs no illustration at all to say what the day is about to whoever opens it.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 120 by 120 mm square card: set the word at 32 pt on one row, keep 15 mm of clear ground beneath before the printed message, and hold 13 mm of margin so neither heart is clipped.
Pre-production check
Hearts at both ends can look symmetrical in a dull way; print one card at the finished size and check the pair reads as drawn before the batch.
A fine script with heart terminals suits a sweet product, and the light weight keeps a small label from looking crowded.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 55 by 40 mm label: set the brand at 13 pt on one row, keep 5 mm of clear ground beneath before the cocoa line at 4.5 pt, and hold 4 mm from the heart to the die line.
Pre-production check
At thirteen points the heart outline closes up; print one label at the real size and check both terminals before the order.
