Thin monoline script with long entries
Lunar Melody is a thin monoline script in cream on a dark textured ground: light even strokes, tall slanted letters, and capitals whose entry strokes travel in from far outside the word.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The two words are stacked, and the face is a thin monoline script: the L opens with a long thin entry that arrives from the left margin, the u and the n are narrow, the M of Melody answers with its own wide entry, the l and the d rise into tall loops and the y drops a fine descender that curls back under the line. The stroke is even and light throughout, the slant is strong and the ascenders are tall, so a twelve-letter phrase fills a wide measure without weight. A row of tiny tracked capitals at the foot lists the character set, and a line at the top names the studio and the year. Lunar Melody is a thin script for covers, editorial and packaging with a quiet voice, and it needs a large size, a dark ground and generous margins for the long entries.

A thin script in cream on dark reads as lettering printed in one ink, and the long entries give two names the width a modern card needs.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 130 by 180 mm invitation: set the names at 25 pt on one line, keep 20 mm of clear ground beneath before the venue at 9 pt, and hold 22 mm of margin so the entries are not trimmed.
Pre-production check
A hairline monoline can break on dark uncoated card; print one invitation on the intended stock and check the joins before the suite.
A thin script on a dark cover reads as a printed mark rather than a decoration, and the long entry strokes give a slim format the width it lacks.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 130 by 198 mm cover: set the title at 40 pt over two lines, keep 20 mm of clear ground beneath before the poet name at 10 pt, and hold 18 mm of margin on all four sides.
Pre-production check
Thin strokes over a textured image can vanish; print one cover and check every letter separates before the run.
A thin script sets a quiet tone for a long read, and the tall letters give the opener the height a plain headline cannot.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 230 by 300 mm opener: set the title at 76 pt over two lines, keep 26 mm of clear ground beneath before the standfirst at 11 pt, and hold 24 mm of margin on both sides.
Pre-production check
At seventy-six points a monoline looks like a wire; print one opener at the finished size and judge the weight before the issue.
