Heart Beat is a valentine monogram: a solid heart with a serif initial cut out of the middle, crossed by a long electrocardiogram line that runs past both sides of the shape.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The mark sits at the centre of a white card: a deep red heart with a softened point, a white serif H knocked out of its centre, and a small heart floating at the upper left of the fill. Through the whole composition runs a thin pulse line, rising into two sharp spikes and settling into small waves at each end, and where it crosses the heart it is drawn in white so the line continues through the shape rather than over it. Underneath, the name of the face is set in a spaced caps serif and a second line names the occasion. The mark is a single-purpose ornament: one initial, one heart, one pulse, and a great deal of white around them, which is why it works at the size of a card front, a seal or a small tattoo stencil.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Heart Beat’s stroke geometry.
One mark carries the whole occasion, and the pulse line gives the heart a subject beyond the usual shape without adding a second ornament.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 120 by 170 mm card: set the monogram at 55 mm wide at the optical centre, keep 20 mm of clear ground beneath before the written message at 9 pt, and hold 14 mm from the pulse ends to the card edge.
Pre-production check
The pulse spikes are thin and break on textured card; print one card on the intended board and check both peaks first.
The heart and the pulse together suggest a long marriage better than a monogram alone, and the single initial keeps the mark formal enough for a printed card.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 45 mm round seal: set the monogram at 34 mm wide at the centre, keep 5 mm of clear ground beneath before the date at 4.5 pt, and hold 4 mm from the pulse ends to the die circle.
Pre-production check
Small seals lose the pulse at the ends; print one seal on the real stock and check the smallest wave before the sheet.
The pulse line says what the practice does without a written explanation, and the single initial personalises a card that a patient keeps.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 90 by 50 mm appointment card: set the monogram at 26 mm wide at the left, keep 8 mm of clear ground beside the pulse before the contact block at 7 pt, and hold 5 mm from the mark to the card edge.
Pre-production check
Clinical printing often runs two colours; print one card with the real inks and check the pulse where it crosses the heart.
