Two outlined hands forming a heart around serif N and K with a small red heart

Visual anatomy & craft review
The mark fills the middle of a pale card: two hands rise from the lower corners, the wrists crossing at the base and the fingertips meeting at the top, and the space between the palms is a heart. Inside that space the letters N and K sit in a heavy serif, with a solid red heart between them that is the only filled colour on the card. The line work is fine and even, drawn with a slight taper at the fingertips, and the hands are cropped at the wrist by the edge of the composition so the drawing reads as a frame rather than a picture. A caption at the top introduces the set and three lines underneath name it, describe it and credit the studio, the second of them in a light script. It is a monogram for weddings, anniversaries and charity cards, and it wants a size where the fingers still read as fingers.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Heart Emblem Monogram’s stroke geometry.
The hands give the couple mark a warmth that a plain monogram lacks, and the two letters fit inside the heart without crowding the drawn fingers.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 45 mm round seal: set the monogram at 16 pt inside the heart with 4 mm of clear ground to the fingertips, and hold 4 mm from the wrists to the die circle on both sides.
Pre-production check
The fine finger lines break below 35 mm across; print one seal at the finished size and inspect the fingertips first.
One drawing holds the occasion and the couple's initials at once, and the single red heart gives the eye somewhere to land in an otherwise pale card.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 120 by 170 mm card: set the monogram at 20 pt inside the heart, keep 18 mm of clear ground beneath before the written note, and hold 14 mm from the lowest wrist to the card edge.
Pre-production check
Line art prints lighter on textured card; print one card on the intended board and check the finger joins before the set.
The gesture says care without a slogan, and a single monogram lets the charity personalise cards without redesigning the front each time.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 105 by 148 mm card front: set the mark at 70 mm wide at the optical centre, keep 16 mm of clear ground beneath before the printed message, and hold 12 mm from the fingertips to the card edge.
Pre-production check
Charity printing often uses recycled stock that drinks fine lines; print one card on the actual paper and check the fists.
