Ever After is a storybook display serif with ornate spiral terminals, curled crossbars and a hand-drawn contour, so a word reads as a title page from an illustrated fairy tale rather than as a decorative spray. The curls extend past the letter body and the contour is confident at large sizes and blobby below about 26 mm. It needs roughly 26 mm for the spirals to read as deliberate, and it is best in gold bevel on parchment or in one dark ink on cream.
