Contrast serif capitals with leaf-shaped openings and curling botanical extensions
Electra presents dark capitals inside a pale ornamental frame: broad serif strokes are cut by fine leaves and curling stems, some terminals expand into fan-like leaf forms, C encloses a small floral cluster, T grows symmetrical branches inside its stem and A carries a pointed botanical counter.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
Each letter is a small construction of strokes and vegetation, the leaves cut into the counters, the stems curl away from the baseline and the weight stays high-contrast. The botanical cut is the character: the ornament lives inside the letter rather than around it, which is why the sample sets one word inside a frame. Because the fine contours are hairlines, keep 44 pt before they survive, and treat the pale frame as cover artwork rather than a supplied component.

The botanical capitals give a garden suite its theme, and the leaf counters stay open at 44 mm on heavy card stock. The botanical cut also keeps a suite tied to its setting.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 130 by 180 mm card: set the names at 44 mm in capitals, keep every leaf contour at 0.5 mm, and set the venue at 9 pt in a light serif with 16 mm of clear ground below.
Pre-production check
Fine leaf contours printed under 0.3 mm fill in; check the film at full size and keep the names at 38 mm or above.
The curled stems suit a flower shop, and the ornamented caps stay clear at 30 mm on a 60 mm panel in one ink. The ornamented caps also give a small label a theme.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 60 by 40 mm label: set the shop name at 30 mm, keep the stems at 0.6 mm, and set the street in a 6 pt caps beneath with 5 mm of clear ground. Keep the label square. Keep the street line short.
Pre-production check
A leaf cluster printed at 20 mm becomes a blob; check the plate proof and keep the name at 26 mm or above. Ask for a plate proof of the label.
One ornamented capital starts an article, and the leaf detail gives the opening page its theme at 50 mm. The leaf detail also gives an opening page its motif.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 210 mm page: set the initial at 50 mm, keep 7 mm of clear ground beside the first four lines at 10 pt, and keep the frame line 12 mm away from the letter. Keep the frame line clear.
Pre-production check
An initial set hard against the text jams the opening; check the page and keep 8 mm of white beside it. Keep the text block narrow.
