Visual anatomy & craft review
The C sits at the centre of a circular ornament on a warm gold ground, and the frame around it is built from symmetrical curls: acanthus leaves spiralling outward, small berries at the joints, and a crown at the top with two birds perched either side of it. The initial is a classic serif with heavy stems and fine hairlines, drawn in a dark tone against the gold so it reads as the subject rather than as a space. Three lines underneath name the set, describe it and credit the studio, the first in a script that echoes the curls in the frame. The whole card looks like an embossed invitation, which is what the mark is for: it holds a single initial at the size of a seal or a card front and reads as a crest without a coat of arms.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Crown Monogram’s stroke geometry.
The crowned frame gives a single initial the weight of a crest, and the fine curls keep a formal invitation from looking like a printed certificate.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 45 mm round seal: set the initial at 24 pt at the centre, keep 5 mm of clear ground between the letter and the acanthus, and hold 4 mm from the outer curls to the die circle.
Pre-production check
The small berries fill in below 30 mm; print one seal at the finished size and check the crown before the sheet.
The frame reads as a crest on a key card, and the same mark scales from a wax seal to a printed folder without any redrawing of the ornament.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 90 by 55 mm key card: set the monogram at 30 mm across at the left, keep 8 mm of clear ground beside the frame before the room text at 8 pt, and hold 5 mm from the curls to the card edge.
Pre-production check
Key cards are printed on plastic that repels some inks; print one on the actual card and check the fine curls.
The crowned initial gives a private dinner a printed identity, and the mark suits a menu or a place card without a second ornament.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 105 by 70 mm menu: set the monogram at 24 mm across at the head, keep 10 mm of clear ground beneath before the first course at 9 pt, and hold 8 mm of margin on all four sides of the card.
Pre-production check
Gold grounds print unevenly on uncoated card; print one menu on the intended stock and check the frame before the set.
