Visual anatomy & craft review
Christmas Snowy is a plump rounded bubble display in which each cap carries a sculpted white snowdrift along its upper edge, so the letter reads as a candy form under snow rather than a typeface with a decoration. The letters are chunky with small counters, which keeps a word solid at banner scale, and the snow caps add height above the cap line that the layout must reserve. It needs roughly 25 mm for the drift to read as snow, and it is at its best in red or green with a white cap on a pale ground.

Snow-capped letters say the season in one word, which is what an outdoor sign needs from the road. Chunky forms survive a PVC print and a laminated tag.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Sign 600 x 400 mm, word 120 mm with 25 mm headroom for the snow, 40 mm margins. Tag 50 x 90 mm, name 9 mm, hole 5 mm clear. Tin label 90 x 60 mm, word 16 mm, 5 mm border.
Pre-production check
Snow caps sit above the cap line and are the first element cropped when a file is fitted to a fixed frame. Declare the artwork box, and check one printed sign inside its frame before the run.
The snow cap reads as frost rather than decoration, so the face works beyond December on a winter market stall. Heavy counters hold at 20 mm on a sleeve.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Banner 2000 x 600 mm, word 320 mm with 30 mm headroom, 120 mm margins and eyelets every 500 mm. Board 600 x 400 mm, word 140 mm, 40 mm margins. Sleeve 180 x 60 mm, word 18 mm, 5 mm die margin.
Pre-production check
Board printing under a marquee in cold weather can craze a heavy white coverage. Ask for a flexible ink or print on banner vinyl instead of rigid board, and check one sample after a cold night.
Snow-capped bubbles read as a cosy party rather than a Christmas event, which is what a December birthday needs. Chunky shapes cut cleanly as a topper and read across a room.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Banner 900 x 300 mm, word 120 mm with 20 mm headroom, 40 mm margins. Cup wrap 200 x 90 mm, word 20 mm, 10 mm from the rim. Topper 130 x 110 mm, name 45 mm, 8 mm stick slot.
Pre-production check
A cup wrap crosses the taper and a snow cap at the top of a letter distorts where the cup narrows. Keep the caps within the flat centre band, and check one wrapped cup before the party.
