myntype works a downtown serif and a soft script. Chicago Downton suggests urban editorial, Amastay a warmer script, and the 10 releases favour confident contrast with a slightly vintage finish.

Urban editorial serifs usually ship one weight. Plan the hierarchy around size and colour rather than weight.
Dense slanted script with broad rounded C and D capitals
Chicago Downton is a dense slanted script in which the capital C and D open broad rounded bowls, the lowercase joins close together and straight and curved underline strokes sit beneath both sample words while the final n curls into a small terminal.

Tapered ink-like calligraphy with a long crossing entry and returning tail
Amastay is a tapered brush-calligraphy script in which the strokes thin toward their ends, the capital opens tall, a long entry crosses the first letter and the closing y returns beneath the word, so a name reads as wet ink on paper.

Low signature script with tall capitals
Bestiemore Pearl shows a large looped B and P above very small slanted letters, with thin t crossbars and long capital entry strokes stretching across an otherwise airy line.
Retro serif with curled alternates
Melody Dreams is a retro serif in cream over a beach photograph: moderate contrast, rounded bracketed serifs, and heavy curls on the M and the D that turn into decorative terminals, with alternate glyphs that add stars, so the pair reads as a seventies album cover.

Fine angular ink-style script
Mint Seira is a fine angular ink-style script in black on off-white: narrow strokes with a rough edge, sharp angular turns, a small x-height and two long swash strokes that finish the line.

Fine angular modern calligraphy with open corners and swash alternates
Adora Morgutten is fine modern calligraphy drawn with angular rather than rounded turns, so the strokes change direction at open corners and the phrase reads as a written line with edges.

Adora Petite is a delicate, airy handwritten calligraphy script accented with petite inward-coiled spiral tips on capitals and terminal hooks.

Modern calligraphy script with long tails
Marley Heritage is a modern calligraphy script in black on speckled paper: thin modulated strokes, oversized looping capitals, a lowercase that stays low and wide, and tails that run far beyond the words, so the pair reads as a signature written with a flexible nib on old stock.

Calligraphic handwriting script with swash capitals
Yolanda Comel is a calligraphic script in near-black on cream: a modulated stroke with a steep angle, tall looping capitals, a long swash entry on the Y and a matching exit on the final l, so the pair reads as an invitation written with a pointed pen and then set in print.
