Visual anatomy & craft review
Thanksgiving is a warm bouncy brush calligraphy with spiralled terminal curls: a loaded brush stroke on a shallow slant, joined letters, a soft bounce and exits that spiral into a tight curl at the end of a line. The spirals are the design and they close first at small sizes, and the bounce grows the word vertically. It needs roughly 26 mm for the spiral and the brush edge to read, and it is best in one warm ink on cream and kraft, or a fine gold on a dark ground where the curls print as bright lines.

A curled brush script gives a harvest dinner a written menu rather than a printed one. The spirals hold at 26 pt, and one warm ink prints the menu and the banner in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Menu 120 x 210 mm, header 26 pt with 12 mm curl clearance, courses 9/12 pt, 15 mm margins. Table card 90 x 50 mm, name 12 pt, 4 mm margins. Banner 1200 x 400 mm, word 140 mm, 25 mm safe edge.
Pre-production check
On a 1200 x 400 mm banner the spiral runs past the printed area and gets trimmed. Keep the word inside a 25 mm margin with 12 mm extra to the right, and inspect one banner before hanging.
A curled brush script reads as a written note rather than a printed acknowledgement. The spirals hold at 22 mm, and one warm ink prints the card, the label and the tag in one pass.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card A6, greeting 22 mm with 10 mm curl clearance, note 8/11 pt, 14 mm margins. Jar label 70 x 45 mm, word 12 mm, 4 mm die margin. Market tag 50 x 90 mm, word 12 mm with a 5 mm hole and 8 mm clear.
Pre-production check
A 70 x 45 mm jar label at 12 mm closes the spiral into a dot on wet-strength paper and the word reads as a smudge. Raise the label to 16 mm, and check one labelled jar before the batch.
A warm brush script reads as a painted farm board rather than a printed logo. The script holds at 70 mm on a board, and one ink prints the board and the box in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Board 900 x 600 mm, script 120 mm with 12 mm curl clearance, items 26 mm, 25 mm margins. Box stamp 150 x 80 mm, word 40 mm, 10 mm margins. Card 85 x 55 mm, word 16 mm, 5 mm margins.
Pre-production check
On an 85 x 55 mm card the stroke merges with the curl and the name reads as one thick ribbon. Keep the card word at 24 mm, and check one card before the run.
