Very heavy upright display sans
Tenue is a very heavy upright sans in vermilion on a mint ground: wide mixed case with compact e counters, a broad u cup, thick even strokes and flat terminals, set as one large word above a rule, a tracked line and two small notes in the corners.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The word fills the plate and the drawing is a display sans at the extreme of weight: the counters in the e are narrow, the u is a broad cup, and the strokes are thick and even, so the block reads as a solid mass rather than as letters made of strokes. That construction sets a moderate size floor, because the compact counters close first, and the mint ground makes the vermilion vibrate, which is a useful check on the colour rather than on the shape. The tracked line beneath and the two corner notes are product copy that name the style, the glyph count and the studio. Because the letters are wide and heavy, the face suits a poster, a package and a screen where a short line has to land hard.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Tenue’s stroke geometry.
A very heavy sans gives a cover a title that lands at thumbnail size, which is what a newsstand needs. The mass is the idea.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the title at 100 mm cap height across 200 mm, the subtitle in a 9 pt sans, and the issue at 7 pt. Print two colours on an uncoated stock and keep 22 mm margins at the head.
Pre-production check
Check the title at 100 mm, where an e counter can fill; keep it above 4 mm. Confirm the 7 pt issue survives on uncoated stock and that the title clears the trim.
A heavy display names a bottle from across a shelf, and the flat terminals print cleanly on a curved label. It reads down a shelf.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 60 by 90 mm label: the brand at 16 pt, the flavour at 8.5 pt, and the volume at 7 pt. Keep 5 mm inside the die and keep the compact counters above 0.8 mm on the curve.
Pre-production check
Check the 16 pt brand on a curved bottle, where an e counter can fill; keep it above 0.8 mm. Confirm the 7 pt volume reads on the shelf and that the label holds in a cooler.
A heavy sans holds a short festival name on a poster seen from a queue, and the even strokes read against a busy photograph.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A1 poster: the festival at 220 mm cap height, the dates in a 26 mm sans, and the gates at 12 mm. Keep 30 mm margins and print two colours on a light stock.
Pre-production check
Check the A1 at six metres, where a counter can close; keep it above 8 mm. Confirm the 12 mm gates read at two metres and that the dates clear the title on both sides.
