Light condensed retro sans
Refreshing is a light condensed sans in magenta on a warm off-white ground: capitals with long straight stems, a diagonal S middle, flat terminals and a narrow fit, set as one line between a tracked line above and a plain line beneath.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The plate is two colours and three lines on a warm ground, and the restraint lets the fit be judged: the word spans the width in one line, which is exactly what a condensed face is for. The drawing is a light condensed sans with a diagonal S middle and flat terminals, so the face reads as a mid-century sign face rather than as a modern grotesque, and the light weight means the strokes hold at moderate sizes rather than only at display. That construction sets a moderate size floor. The tracked line above and the plain line beneath are product copy that name the style. Because the letters are narrow and even, the face suits a sign, a package and a poster with a long word.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Refreshing’s stroke geometry.
A condensed face fits a long brand line on a poster, and the magenta on cream reads in daylight. The fit holds a long line.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A2 poster: the brand at 100 mm cap height, the line in a 22 mm sans, and the date at 11 mm. Keep 26 mm margins and print two colours on a light stock.
Pre-production check
Check the A2 at five metres, where a thin stem can vanish; keep it above 3 mm. Confirm the 11 mm date reads at two metres and that the fit holds the whole line.
A narrow label fits a long flavour name on a slim can, and the light weight stays readable at small size. It stays light at small size.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 55 by 90 mm label: the brand at 15 pt, the flavour at 8 pt, and the volume at 7 pt. Keep 5 mm inside the die and keep the stems above 0.5 mm on the curve.
Pre-production check
Check the 15 pt brand on a curved can, where a stem can thin out; keep it above 0.5 mm. Confirm the 7 pt volume reads on the shelf and that the label holds in a cooler.
A retro condensed sign fits a long shop name on a narrow fascia, and the bright colour reads from a pavement. It reads from a pavement.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Fabricate a 900 by 300 mm panel: the shop at 110 mm cap height, the hours in a 24 mm sans, and a 4 mm rule. Keep 22 mm margins and specify a matte finish.
Pre-production check
Check the panel at 110 mm, where a thin stem can fill in metal; keep it above 5 mm. Confirm the 24 mm hours read at three metres and that the rule clears the fixings.
