Heavy heart-dotted brush script
Smitten is a heavy brush script in charcoal on pink: fat rounded strokes, tight loops, a heart in place of the dot on the i and a long entry stroke that runs in from the left before the first letter.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The word sits on a pale panel, and the face is a brush script built for display: the S opens with a wide loop, the m and the i are narrow, the t crosses low, the t and the e close small and the n finishes with a lifted tail, while the dot of the i is drawn as a tiny heart and the whole word is preceded by a long thin entry stroke. The stroke is heavy and even with rounded terminals, the counters are small and the letters connect in a tight rhythm, which is what keeps a seven-letter word reading as a single gesture at a small size. Two small drawn hearts sit at either side and a script line beneath names the style. Smitten is a display script for cards, packaging and party goods with a romantic tone, and it works best in one short word with a pale ground behind it.

A heart-dotted script says the tone of the day on a small label, and the heavy stroke holds at twelve points where a hairline face would fill in.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 60 by 45 mm label: set the word at 14 pt on one line, keep 5 mm of clear ground beneath before the names at 6 pt, and hold 4 mm of margin on all four sides.
Pre-production check
The heart dot can close into a blob at fourteen points; print one label at the real size and check the i before the order.
A fat script with a built-in heart does the ornament for a card, and the heavy weight reads across a room rather than only close up.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 120 by 120 mm square card: set the word at 34 pt on one line, keep 14 mm of clear ground beneath before the message at 9.5 pt, and hold 13 mm of margin on all four sides.
Pre-production check
A long entry stroke can run past the card edge; print one at the finished size and check both ends before the batch.
A heavy script reads on a board beside a cake, and the heart detail ties the sign to the stationery without a second graphic.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 300 by 200 mm board: set the word at 70 pt on one line, keep 20 mm of clear ground beneath before the note at 16 pt, and hold 20 mm of margin on both sides.
Pre-production check
A fat script on a white board can look flat; print one at the final size and check the contrast before the set.
