Broad handwritten signature script
Santiago is a broad handwritten signature in white over a dusk city: wide sweeping strokes, a huge S that drops below the baseline, and a monoline weight that holds over a busy image.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The city name runs across the full width of the frame in one line, and the face is a signature rather than a calligraphy: the S opens with a long flat entry that starts below the baseline, the a and the n are wide open forms, the t carries a crossbar that runs into the next letter and the g closes with a short hook instead of a loop. The stroke is even and moderately heavy, which is what lets the white lettering sit on top of a photograph of rooftops without losing its edges, and the letters are only loosely connected, so the word reads as written quickly with a marker. Two tracked capital lines sit above and below the name and frame the block. Santiago is a display signature for posters, covers, event graphics and brand marks over imagery, and it is at its best at a large size where the sweep has room to travel.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Santiago’s stroke geometry.
A broad signature over a photograph does the work of a photographed location shot and a headline at once, which is what a festival poster needs on a wall.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 700 by 1000 mm poster: set the city name at 180 pt across the width, keep 40 mm of clear ground beneath before the dates at 30 pt, and hold 34 mm of margin on all sides.
Pre-production check
White lettering over a bright sky can lose contrast; print one proof at the final size and check the word separates from the lightest area before the run.
A signature over a place photograph tells guests where they are going before they read a word, and the light stroke suits a modern invitation suite.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 130 by 180 mm invitation: set the place name at 40 pt across the card, keep 20 mm of clear ground beneath before the details at 9 pt, and hold 16 mm of margin on all sides.
Pre-production check
A dark photograph hides a fine stroke; print one invitation on the intended stock and check the edges before the suite.
A signature on a card reads as a person's writing rather than a logo, which is the tone a small travel studio wants when it sells trips planned by hand.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an 85 by 55 mm card: set the studio name at 20 pt on one row, keep 6 mm of clear ground beneath before the contact block at 6.5 pt, and hold 5 mm of margin on both sides.
Pre-production check
The entry stroke can run past the trim; print one card at the finished size and check both ends before the order.
