Bold lettering script with heavy looping capitals and a tight stacked fit
Mighty Sunday is a bold lettering script in which the capitals loop heavily, the strokes stay fat through the joins and two stacked words lock together into a single block.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The capital M opens as a heavy looped stem and the capital S of the second word repeats the gesture, and the lowercase between them keeps the same load: the i carries a solid dot, the g drops a fat loop, the h and the t carry wide shoulders and the y finishes with a curled tail. Weight never thins, joins stay as heavy as the stems and the ends curl rather than taper, which is what lets the two lines sit tightly together without losing their edges. The loops stay open at the centre so the word reads at banner size, and the tight letterfit means the stack reads as one painted panel rather than as two lines of text. The dark board, the cream ink and the small tracked caption beneath are presentation; the script is the two words.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Mighty Sunday’s stroke geometry.
The heavy stacked script fills a header band with two words, and the fat joins keep the lettering solid at 60 pt on newsprint where a fine script would break.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the header at 60 pt on the opening spread, keep the body in a 10 pt serif at 13 pt leading, and hold 18 mm below the second line so the descenders clear the columns.
Pre-production check
Heavy loops on newsprint fill their counters; check the press sheet and open the g and e before the run rather than reducing the size.
The stacked weight reads as a painted sign and fills a narrow panel without a second element, which is what a small shopfront fascia needs.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the first word at 18 cm on the fascia, set the second at 14 cm directly beneath with a 3 cm overlap, and hold 12 cm of margin so the curled ends stay on the panel.
Pre-production check
An overlapping stack painted by hand drifts between lines; cut a paper template for the second word and check the overlap before painting.
The heavy looped script reads at a distance in daylight, and the stacked fit gives a welcome board a designed shape without extra decoration.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the greeting at 12 cm on a 700 by 500 mm board, set both names at 8 cm beneath with a 2 cm overlap, and leave 12 cm of margin so the tails stay inside the frame.
Pre-production check
Curled ends close to a frame look clipped; check the board at full size and inset the stack rather than shortening the lettering.
