Heavy mixed case with a curled tall l and a broad low g loop
Maglin shows pale substantial serif mixed case over a close portrait: the M holds firm thick diagonals, the a curls inward, the tall l bends into a rounded upper hook and the g drops a broad descending loop toward the subtitle.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The stems stay thick, the bowls round out, the joins keep a moderate contrast and two letters travel beyond the line, one above as a hook and one below as a wide loop. The paired extensions are the character: the row is framed above and below by the same weight, which is why the sample sets one name over a portrait. Because the loop reaches into the subtitle area, keep 24 mm beneath and 18 mm above from 30 pt, and treat the ligature and alternate lists as deliberate access.

The heavy serif gives a bottle warmth, and the low loop stays clear at 22 pt on a 55 mm panel in one ink. The heavy weight also keeps a bottle label warm at arm's length.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 55 by 70 mm label: set the maker name at 22 pt, keep 9 mm beneath for the g loop, and set the volume in a 6 pt caps at the foot with 5 mm of clear ground. Keep the label tall.
Pre-production check
A broad loop printed at 18 pt fills its counter; check the plate proof and keep the name at 20 pt or above. Ask for a plate proof of the label.
The curled serif softens a rustic suite, and the heavy bowls keep two names readable at 24 pt on heavy card stock. The loop also gives a rustic card its gesture.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 130 by 180 mm card: set the names at 24 pt, keep 20 mm beneath for the low loop, and set the venue at 9 pt in a light serif with 14 mm of clear ground below. Keep the names on one row.
Pre-production check
A loop printed into the venue line collides with it; check the card and keep 18 mm of clear space. Test one card before the set.
The substantial row sets a portrait feature, and the two extensions frame a one-word title at 54 pt across a spread. The extensions also keep a portrait title balanced.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 210 mm spread: set the title at 54 pt, keep 22 mm above for the l hook and 24 mm below for the g loop, and set the standfirst at 10 pt in a serif inside the column. Keep the standfirst inside the column.
Pre-production check
A hook printed over the image edge loses its curve; check the page and keep the title on the plain margin. Keep the title off the portrait's face.
