Visual anatomy & craft review
Hexagonal Monogram is a geometric cipher monogram system built on a hexagon: three initials sit at the three positions of a hexagon, joined by thin rules that form a continuous cipher, with a small dot at each junction and an optional frame. The system lets one mark be rotated without breaking, and the junction dots are the finest element. It needs roughly 34 mm for the dot and the rule to read, and it is best in one fine ink on smooth card, or a foil impression above 40 mm.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Hexagonal Monogram’s stroke geometry.
A hexagonal cipher reads as a drawn monogram rather than a corporate logo. The rules hold at 34 mm on a card, and one fine ink prints the card and the plate in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card 85 x 55 mm, monogram 34 mm with 8 mm rule clearance, details 7/9 pt, 8 mm margins. Door plate 300 x 80 mm, monogram 50 mm, 10 mm margins. Letterhead 210 x 297 mm, monogram 28 mm, 20 mm margins.
Pre-production check
On an 85 x 55 mm card the junction dots merge into the rules and the mark reads as a hexagon. Raise the monogram to 40 mm, and check one card before the run.
A geometric cipher gives a modern wedding a crest without a botanical or script flourish. The rules hold at 32 mm on an invitation, and one fine ink keeps the junctions open.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invitation 130 x 180 mm, crest 32 mm with 8 mm rule clearance, names 12 pt, details 9/13 pt, 18 mm margins. Menu 120 x 210 mm, crest 24 mm, courses 9/12 pt. Seal 38 mm round, monogram 20 mm, 3 mm die margin.
Pre-production check
A 38 mm wax seal at a 20 mm monogram fills the junctions into a solid disc. Use a single initial on seals, and pour one seal before the batch.
A cipher monogram reads as a printed calling card rather than a modern note. The rules hold at 26 mm, and one ink prints the card, the tag and the band in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card 85 x 55 mm, monogram 26 mm with 6 mm rule clearance, details 7/9 pt, 8 mm margins. Tag 50 x 90 mm, monogram 22 mm, 5 mm hole with 8 mm clear. Tissue band 300 x 60 mm, monogram 20 mm, 10 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 300 x 60 mm tissue band at a 20 mm monogram creases through the rules and reads as a smear. Keep the mark off the fold line, and wrap one box before the run.
