The six styles differ in construction rather than only in weight. One is a fine slanted script with a long exit, one a rounded marker print with even strokes, one a condensed handwritten sans that reads almost like a typeface, one a loose script with tall loops, one a rounded display hand and one a heavier slanted pen script. Used together they let a designer set a heading, a subheading and a note in three related but distinct hands, which is what a layered invitation or a packaging system needs. Because all six share rounded terminals and a similar informality, the set stays coherent at small sizes. The cream ground, the gold band, the six specimen boxes and the icon row beneath are presentation; the lettering is the six samples.
