Tall looped script with long crossbars and a level baseline
Brittany is a tall looped script in which the ascenders rise well above the x-height, the crossbars of the t run across the whole word and the baseline holds level from first letter to last.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The capital B opens as a large loop that begins below the baseline and closes back through its own stem before the word continues, and the letters after it stay narrow: the r and the i keep slim stems, the double l rises into two tall loops, the y drops a curved descender and the a closes a small bowl. The t is crossed by a bar that travels across several neighbouring letters, which is what links the word into one gesture rather than a series of shapes. Weight is a light monoline with rounded ends: nothing tapers to a point and nothing swells. Counters stay open enough that a word reads at 20 pt on a card. The pale photograph, the soft green foliage and the tracked caption beneath are presentation; the script is the word.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Brittany’s stroke geometry.
The tall loops give a card height without width, and the long crossbar ties a pair of names into a single gesture that reads at 26 pt on a modest format.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set both names at 26 pt on a 148 by 105 mm card, set the date in a small caps serif at 8 pt, and leave 18 mm at each end so the loops stay inside the trim.
Pre-production check
A crossbar that runs across neighbouring letters can close on textured stock; print one card on the actual paper and open the t bar if it fills.
The light tall hand thanks a supplier without ceremony, and the monoline weight keeps the line readable at 18 pt in a single colour print.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the message at 18 pt on a 105 by 148 mm card, keep the supplier details in a 7 pt sans below it, and hold 14 mm between the message and the contact block.
Pre-production check
A light monoline can print grey rather than black on uncoated card; check the proof and choose a darker ink rather than a heavier weight.
The narrow loops fit an envelope front at small size, and the crossbar keeps a short pair of names from reading as a plain label on the paper.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the names at 20 pt on a 110 by 220 mm envelope, set the address block in a 10 pt serif, and hold 14 mm between the names and the first address line.
Pre-production check
An envelope crease can cut a crossbar in half; check the artwork against the fold and move the names down if the bar crosses it.
