Tall condensed serif capitals with heavy uprights and narrow counters
Blinds Audience is a tall condensed serif in which the uprights keep heavy weight, the joins thin, the counters compress into narrow slots and the A opens a long triangular counter, so a stacked title reads as a gallery poster.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The B pinches two tight bowls, the D closes a narrow counter, the C turns a thin join between heavy terminals, the S runs through compressed curves and the A opens a tall triangle above its crossbar. The vertical emphasis is the character: a long word fits a narrow column, which is why the sample stacks two lines of caps over a painted ceiling. Because the caps carry the design, the face is set in uppercase with generous leading and reads from 14 pt, holding its counters down to 12 pt on coated stock. Encoded ligatures tighten awkward pairs. The painted ceiling, the light fittings and the small credit are presentation; the pale stacked words are the face.

The condensed caps make a tall title block, and the heavy uprights stay legible at 100 pt while the narrow counters keep the line short.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an A1 poster: set the two title words at 100 pt stacked, keep the leading at 0.95 so the block reads as one mass, and leave the lower third for the dates in a 24 pt caps.
Pre-production check
Compressed counters fill when the leading drops below 0.9; check the poster proof and hold the lines apart by 4 mm.
The narrow capitals suit a vertical sign, and the heavy stems stay readable at 45 mm on a 200 mm wide plate in one colour.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 200 by 500 mm plate: set the two words stacked at 45 mm, keep 25 mm of border, and set the opening hours in a 12 pt caps at the foot in the same ink.
Pre-production check
A condensed word set against a wide plate looks adrift; check the mounted sign and keep every line to one half the plate width.
The tall serif gives a programme a formal head, and the condensed caps hold a two-word title at 40 pt on an A5 cover with a plain list beneath.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an A5 cover: set the title at 40 pt on two lines, set the lecture list at 10 pt in a serif in the lower half, and keep 16 mm between the title block and the list.
Pre-production check
A tall caps block set too close to a list reads as one paragraph; check the proof and open the gap by 4 mm.
