Foundry portfolio · Serif
Fype Co. works serif lettering with one release, Blinds Audience. The face is editorial and high contrast, aimed at publishing, fashion print and premium packaging.
Before you buy from this studio
High-contrast serifs need large sizes. At small sizes the contrast collapses into mud.
Tall condensed serif capitals with heavy uprights and narrow counters
Blinds Audience is a tall condensed serif in which the uprights keep heavy weight, the joins thin, the counters compress into narrow slots and the A opens a long triangular counter, so a stacked title reads as a gallery poster.
