Foundry portfolio · Script · Serif
Pen Culture writes romantic script and serif. Affection is expressive, Dancing in the Rain is softer, and the four releases are aimed at wedding stationery, quotes and personal prints.

Romantic scripts need real wording. Set the full quote, because the joins only reveal themselves across a phrase.
Fine low connected script with tall paired f loops and long side swashes
Affection sets one fine connected line, where the lowercase body stays low, a paired f lifts two tall loops above the ascender line and entry and exit swashes run horizontally past the first and last letters.

Fine uppercase title paired with a strongly slanted lowercase phrase
Dancing in the Rain pairs a high-contrast serif capital line with the same face slanted hard into an italic, so a two-part title reads as one loud statement and one quieter afterthought.

Fine sloping calligraphy with hairline entry and exit tails
Glorea is fine sloping calligraphy in which the first and last letters throw hairline tails far beyond the word, and the letters between them stay narrow, light and evenly sloped.

Speckled looping monoline script with a hand-textured stroke
Harmony is a looping monoline script whose strokes carry a fine speckled texture, so a word reads as if it had been drawn with a textured pen on rough paper rather than filled solidly.
