Foundry portfolio · Decorative · Handwritten
october.store writes seasonal decorative lettering. Mermaid is whimsical, Hello School is classroom-oriented, and the three releases are aimed at children's decor and back-to-school projects.
Before you buy from this studio
Children's decor is often cut on curved surfaces. Split large designs into smaller pieces for tumblers and bottles.
Scale-filled slab display
Mermaid is a slab display filled with overlapping pastel scales: heavy letters with a fine dark contour and a dotted inner edge, set with a script word above and a tracked line beneath, all on a pale iridescent ground with ghosted lettering behind.
Bright irregular capitals with pale curved highlights and rough dark offsets
Hello School shows chunky irregular capitals in red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet, where pale curved strokes sit inside the faces, dark rough-edged offsets create a drawn shadow and the large SCHOOL row has tall open counters with uneven widths.
