Slanted tapered signature script
Restweek is a slanted signature script written with a tapered pen: the strokes swell and thin quickly, the joins lift off the baseline and the whole line leans forward as if written in a hurry.

Visual anatomy & craft review
Restweek crosses the middle of the card in solid black, and the lettering is a signature rather than a calligraphic script: the capital R opens with a long rising stroke, the e and s are small and fast, the t lifts into a narrow crossbar and the w and k carry the same forward lean. The strokes are tapered at both ends, so the line looks pressed rather than drawn, and a long exit stroke runs out to the right. The ground is a photograph of a white corridor in perspective, which leaves the lettering the only shape on the page, and two captions sit above and below in letter-spaced caps. The face is built for a name or a single word at generous size, and its rough edges mean it will not survive being set small.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Restweek’s stroke geometry.
A signature script makes a save-the-date feel handwritten without a full suite, and one line carries both names at a readable size.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 105 by 148 mm card: set the names at 28 pt on one row, keep 16 mm of clear ground beneath before the date at 9 pt, and hold 12 mm of margin so the exit stroke is not trimmed.
Pre-production check
The tapered joins thin out below 20 pt; print one card at the finished size and check the e and s before the batch.
A signature reads as a person's hand rather than a company's, which suits a studio that sells its own work, and the lean gives the mark movement.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an 85 by 55 mm card: set the wordmark at 20 pt on one row, keep 6 mm of clear ground beneath before the contact block at 6 pt, and hold 5 mm from the exit stroke to the card edge.
Pre-production check
A leaning wordmark unbalances a centred layout; print one card and check the mark sits optically level before the order.
A signature at the end of a column separates the writer's voice from the typeset text without a rule, which is what a personal column needs.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 230 by 300 mm page: set the sign-off at 30 pt on one row, keep 16 mm of clear ground beneath before the writer line at 9.5 pt, and hold 20 mm of margin at the outer edge.
Pre-production check
A rough signature next to a sharp serif can look like a scan; print one page and check the two edges read as intentional before the issue.
