Very tall high-contrast capitals with fine crossbars and hairline feet
Aveline is a very tall high-contrast capital face in which the uprights narrow, the A and V spread wide diagonals and the crossbars and feet thin to hairlines, so a name reads as delicate couture lettering.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The A splays two long diagonals over a hairline bar, the V mirrors them, the O closes a tall narrow ring and every foot ends in a stroke that is barely visible at small sizes. The extremes of contrast are the character: the letters look drawn in pen rather than cut, which is why the sample sets white capitals over rose satin. Because the hairlines are fine, the face wants coated stock from 18 pt and gains from hot foil at larger sizes; the small settings need a heavier cut or plain text face instead. The satin folds are photography; the white capitals are the face, and only the upright is demonstrated here.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Aveline’s stroke geometry.
The tall contrast gives a suite its delicacy, and the wide diagonals keep a pair of names readable at 24 pt on heavy coated card.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 130 by 180 mm card: set the names at 24 pt, keep 20 mm above for the tall uprights, and set the venue at 9 pt in a neutral serif beneath with 14 mm of clear ground.
Pre-production check
Hairline feet printed at 20 pt on textured card disappear; check the stock and set the names on a smooth coated sheet.
The couture contrast suits a small label, and the tall forms hold a house name at 18 pt on a 36 mm panel stamped in hot foil.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 36 by 60 mm label: set the house name at 18 pt, keep the foil plate 6 mm clear of the hairline feet, and keep the thinnest stroke at 0.4 mm on the plate.
Pre-production check
A foil hairline below 0.3 mm breaks in the stamping; check the die proof and thicken the crossbar rather than the letter.
The tall capitals fill a cover column, and the fine contrast holds a single word at 76 pt across a printed cover with a plain ground.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an A4 cover: set the title at 76 pt across the upper half, keep 22 mm of clear ground beneath for the standfirst, and set the standfirst at 10 pt in a light serif.
Pre-production check
Fine hairlines printed over a textured image vanish; check the cover proof and keep the title on a plain band.
