Foundry portfolio · Handwritten
beadylab writes quiet, domestic handwriting. Playmat is gentle and child-oriented, Windy is softer still, and the two releases are built for home labels, playroom decor and small prints.
Before you buy from this studio
Domestic labelling is printed at small sizes. Check the letterforms at twelve points before making a label sheet.
Uneven hand-drawn typewriter lettering
Playmat is a hand-drawn typewriter font in purple on a pink panel: slab serifs of uneven thickness, a wobbling baseline and round counters that make a machine face look drawn with a pen.

Thin irregular separate capitals
Windy is a set of tall thin hand-drawn capitals in white on a dark leaf background: uneven stems, open counters and slight spacing changes from letter to letter, drawn as a light display with a drawn squiggle beneath.
